Ravi Kishan says he saw Lord Shiva walking in the mountains in Manali after an all-night shoot: ‘I asked Manoj Bajpayee to see as well’

Ravi Kishan has worked in over 700 films across many Indian languages and the actor, who is am Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur, has a strong spiritual side as well. In a recent chat, Ravi said that he is completely dedicated to Lord Shiva and even claimed that he saw the god walking in the mountains. Ravi recalled the incident that happened in Manali during the shoot of the war film 1971.

In a chat with YouTube channel Camera7, Ravi was asked if he had ever seen Lord Shiva and he said, “I remember when I was shooting 1971 with Manoj Bajpayee, Manav Kaul, Piyush Mishra… we were all in Manali. We were shooting there. We shot all night and then we had shots for the morning as well so we continued shooting till morning. We were waiting for the sun to rise and there was snow all around us in the mountains.”

Ravi said that when he looked up during one of the shots, he believed that he saw Shiva. “As I was giving my shot, I looked up towards the mountains and I saw Shivji walking in the mountains, he was huge. Manoj Bajpayee was right next to me. Deepak Dobriyal was also there. I asked them to see as well. I don’t know if Manoj saw him or not, or may be thought I am looking at something else,” he said.

Ravi said with complete confidence that he believed that he saw Lord Shiva in that moment. “Uss waqt maine unke darshan kiye the, jahan par maine unko chalte hue dekha. (At that point, I had his darshan, when I saw him walking.)” Later in the chat, Ravi insisted that he was a dedicated devotee of Lord Shiva, so much so that he was in love with god. “Main Shiv ke prem mein hu puri tarah. (I am completely in love with Shiv.)”

Ravi Kishan was recently seen in Laapataa Ladies and Mamla Legal Hai.
