In her latest vlog, Archana Puran Singh took her followers behind the scenes of Netflix’s recent star-studded event in Mumbai. The event saw celebrities like Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anya Malhotra, Shah Rukh Khan, and others in attendance. Archana was present alongside Kapil Sharma and other cast members of The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Though Kapil and Archana’s on-screen banter is a highlight of their show—where Kapil frequently teases her—the behind-the-scenes clip shared by Archana makes it clear that their real-life dynamic is no different. In the video, the cast members are seen together in an elevator, heading to Kapil’s room, when the conversation turns to Archana’s recent wrist injury. Seizing the moment, Kapil jokes in Hindi, “Sachhi shooting mein toota ya Parmeet sir se haath pai hui thi? Inka show accha chal jaaye na, padosi ko peet dete hain ye (Did you really break your wrist while shooting, or did you get into a fistfight with husband Parmeet Sethi? When her show does well, she beats up the neighbors).”
Kapil’s comment had everyone bursting into laughter. However, Archana was quick with a witty comeback, saying, “Parmeet agar mera haath todta toh uska muh toot jata (If Parmeet had broken my wrist, I would have broken his face).”
In a previous vlog, Archana revealed that she fractured her wrist while shooting for a Rajkummar Rao-starrer during a night shift and had to be rushed to the hospital. She shared, “See what has happened. I had an accident during a shooting, and I fell down. First time. I never thought in life that I would have broken my wrist. Of course, it does happen with people. But I thought mere saath kabhi nahi hoga aisa. (I thought it would not happen to me). I was in shock. Yesterday, I didn’t allow any cameras. Today, I am feeling better.” Archana was discharged from the hospital after undergoing surgery and staying overnight.
After two successful seasons, Kapil Sharma is set to return with the third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show.
