Kajol deletes all posts from Instagram, takes break from social media: ‘Facing one of the toughest trials of my life’

Kajol has taken her fans by surprise as she announced on Friday afternoon that she is taking a break from social media. Kajol took to her Instagram and Twitter to post this news. The actor deleted all her posts on Instagram.

Kajol shared a note which read, “Facing one of the toughest trials of my life.” The actor captioned it, “Taking a break from social media.” While Kajol did not mention the reason behind this decision, many asked if it is part of promotion for her upcoming web show, The Good Wife. Director P Malhotra also wrote in comments, “When is the good wife trailer out.”

Others also requested her to return to social media. Reacting to Kajol’s post on Instagram, a fan wrote, “I hope that the break does you great good and I wish you the very best as you navigate the tough parts of life. Prayers and love❤️,” while another posted, “We always love you!! Hope you fine mam hugs full of love from afar ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤.”

“Sending you all my love ❤️. Take your time ❤️🥹”, “We will miss you sm!❤️❤️”, “Asap come back 🥺❤️,” are a few other reactions.

A user also posted, “I don’t know what happened that made you make such a decision, but know that we, the fans, love you and we miss your captions and beautiful posts, We wish you the best💔❤❤🍀.”

Fans will definitely miss the actor. Kajol was acing her Instagram game. Kajol often shared selfies, photoshoots, and just random thoughts on social media, giving fans a peek into her personal life.

Kajol’s post also included pictures with her actor-husband Ajay Devgn and kids Nysa Devgan and Yug.

On the work front, the teaser of Kajol-starrer Lust Stories 2 was released recently. It has been directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh, and also stars Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Mrunal Thakur among others.

Kajol also has upcoming web series The Good Wife, an Indian adaptation of the American courtroom drama of the same name in her kitty. Directed by Suparn Verma, it will stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
