After unveiling Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan’s first looks from the upcoming film Fighter, makers have now shared a glimpse of Anil Kapoor’s look in the film. The actor will portray the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, famously known by his call sign Rocky, in Fighter.
Anil took to Instagram to share his first look and wrote, “Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh Call Sign: Rocky Designation: Commanding Officer Unit: Air Dragons Fighter Forever 🇮🇳 #FighterOn25thJan #Fighter.” The actor’s first look as a commanding officer in Fighter gives an essence of leadership and strength. As per the official statement from the makers, Anil’s character is a masterclass in depth and gravitas, infusing life into a character that encapsulates integrity, strength, dedication, and commitment.
The excitement for Fighter grew among fans after the makers unveiled Deepika’s first look as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore on Tuesday. Deepika, who have had a good 2023 with Pathaan and Jawan, shared the poster of Fighter introducing her character. She captioned the post, “Squadron Leader Minal Rathore Call Sign: Minni Designation: Squadron Pilot Unit: Air Dragons #FighterOn25thJan #Fighter.” In the poster, the actor is seen looking straight into the camera, hinting at the strong personality of her character.
Fighter is directed by Siddharth Anand and is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. The film also stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The film will release in theatres on January 25, 2024, India’s 75th Republic Day.
