To reach out to young voters, BJP organises cricket tournaments

Sharma said street plays will also be organised as part of the campaign.

To woo young and first time voters, Bhartiya Janta yuva morcha (BJYM) on Wednesday started a cricket tournament at SCD Government college ground which was inaugurated by state BJP President Kamal Sharma.

He said that such tournaments were being organised by the party across the state to target the young voters and they will also be making voters aware about their right to vote.

Sharma said that street plays will also be part of our campaign to target young voters. Sharma when asked as whether AAP was making BJP’s campaign weak, said, “AAP was having no impact and rather welcomed their march in politics. More the merrier. In a democratic set up, to have more political parties is a healthy sign and there is nothing to worry about.”
