The Property Tax department of the South Municipal Corporation has launched a financial reward scheme linked to revenue collection.
The objective of the scheme is boost the motivation levels of the employees involved in property tax collection,to create desired work culture and encourage change within Property Tax department. It is proposed that financial reward equivalent to one months salary of the employee concerned will be given on achievement of target. An incremental revenue growth of 20 per cent each,and over the annual target,will make a zone eligible for additional reward equivalent to one months salary. The employees who help in increasing the revenue by Rs 50 lakh in a year will also get a reward certificate.
On the basis of recommendation of the committee,the commissioner will approve grant of reward to the employees of a zone.
Targets have been given to each zone of the South corporation. The current targets are over and above 34 per cent of the previous years target. Since such targets in absolute or percentage term was never achieved by the corporation in the past 10 years,therefore,it is proposed that financial reward equivalent to one months salary of the concerned employees of the zone or headquarters to all employees. Standing Committee has fixed a target of 20 per cent over and above the previous years realisation. The reward scheme will be on team basis and each zone will considered as a single unit, Assessor and Collector,Standing Committee (South),B N Singh said.
Agency seals baraat ghar
New Delhi:In compliance of a court order,South Municipal Corporation in west zone sealed the Shri Ram Leela Baraat Ghar premises at 20 points on Monday. The area sealed is 925 sq yards. According to the sketch submitted in the High Court,there are 27 shops on the plot. Officials said the shops are on government land.
