Red Fort Blast Case: Umar Nabi’s House Demolished; Probe Tracks His Final Movements

Red Fort Blast Case: In a significant development in the Delhi Red Fort blast investigation, authorities in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, have demolished the residence of Dr Umar Un Nabi — the man identified as the driver of the explosives-laden Hyundai i20 that exploded outside the Red Fort. Probe details reveal that after the arrest of his associate, Dr Muzammil Ahmad Ganai, by the J&K Police on October 30, Umar left the Al Falah University campus in Faridabad and drove toward Nuh in the same i20 car. CCTV footage later captured the vehicle at the Firozepur Jhirka toll plaza at 1.36 am, marking his return to Delhi only hours before the blast. Meanwhile, a Delhi Police Special Cell team is profiling all students at Al Falah University, while another is checking IPDR records of Umar’s phones to trace his movements. DNA samples of Umar’s mother have matched with samples from unidentified remains recovered from the blast site, confirming his presence inside the car at the time of the explosion.
