India marched to a six-run victory over New Zealand in the series decider. With this win they recorded their seventh consecutive bilateral ODI series - their longest such streak. Virat Kohli, who scored his 32nd ODI hundred, has now scored 1460 runs in 2017 - the most by any captain in a calendar year in one-day internationals.
Rohit Sharma scored 147 and forged a 230-run partnership to power India to a mammoth total in Kanpur. Rohit has now scored 15 centuries and has levelled Virender Sehwag. Jasprit Bumrah impressed with his pace bowling as he took three wickets. The right-arm fast bowler became second fastest among Indian bowlers to take 50 wickets in ODIs. Bumrah took 28 ODIs to reach the feat while Ajit Agarkar had taken 23 matches to reach the same figures. (Source: PTI)
