The result of the first ever National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency is to declared today. Students who appeared for the exam can check their result at nta.ac.in or ntaneet.nic.in .

Step 2: Click on the result link
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page
Step 4: Log-in using registration number, log-in
Step 5: Result will appear.

A total of 7,97,042 candidates cleared the exam. The unreserved category students needed 701 to 134 marks to qualify followed by PWD students who needed 133 to 120 marks and then SC/ST category candidates who needed 133 to 107 marks.

This year over 15.19 lakh had registered for the exam. Last year 13 lakh students appeared for the same. The number has gone up as NEET is now mandatory for students aiming to study medicine abroad as well.

Rajasthan's Nalin Khandelwal has obtained the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in NEET UG 2019 with 99.9999291 percentile and 701 marks. Among females, Madhuri Reddy from Telangana with 695 marks and all India Rank 7 has topped.

To qualify for MBBS/BSD courses, candidates need to obtain minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those belonging to reserved including SC and ST category, the minimum marks are 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is 45th percentile.
