This year, a total of 3,679 candidates have scored more than 90 per cent marks. In 2019 and 2020, the number of candidates in 90-100 mark range was 1372 and 2288, respectively.

Last year, the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) declared the class 12 results in June. A total of 86,663 students appeared for the exams in 2020. The pass percentage last year was 76.07 per cent.

The Himachal Pradesh Government decided to cancel the exams of class 12 for the academic year of 2020-2021. The decision was taken due to the extension of the corona curfew in the state.
