According to plea documents filed in the case, from approximately April 2011 through February 2012, Brahma engaged in a series of communications, via messaging, texting, and telephone, with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old female, described in the compliant as ‘Jane Doe’.

Jane was an undercover officer with the Lubbock Police Department in Texas.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative, which was launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice, to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
