There is no denying that the relationship between the Indian public and its policemen can be described strained at best. This comes out in a video that has surfaced on social media, in which a man can be seen slapping a Bihar cop because the latter allegedly hit the young man without any reason. Both, the policeman and the youth held each other by collar and hurled abuses at each other. The cop called for other policemen who came in and intervened.
Though, the reason remains unclear as words are incoherent in the video, the youth seems to have been accusing the Bihar cop for his aggressive action. “He hit me for no reason,” he tells the public around and asks for their support.
The video was uploaded by a Facebook user on December 25 and has gone viral. It has been viewed over 150,000 times.
