When it comes to weddings, there are many who go an extra mile to make it a unique affair, something special to make it memorable for not just themselves but everyone attending it. And certainly, this couple in China had an unusual wedding — on a scooter! Yes, the couple exchanged vows on a two-wheeler. We have heard weddings on a yachts or ships, but on a scooter, probably not.
The man, a delivery boy, and his bride had an elaborate ceremony at which hundreds of fellow delivery men followed them in a procession. In India, we have seen hundreds of baaratis dancing and making an entrance at a wedding. In the past, we have even seen the dulhah and baaratis making an entrance on a tractor!
According to People’s Daily, China, the wedding took place in north China’s Tianjin on October 1, 2017. The scene and the crowd captured residents’ attention and since then the video has made its way on Chinese social media platforms.
It is, however, not known if it was a publicity campaign for the brand or not, as fellow riders were seen donning the company’s jackets and helmets as they participated in the procession.
