It is said that twins have a special bond, when one psychically knows things about the other, or senses the other intuitively. In this beautifully moving video that is being widely shared on social media, a pair of newborn twins can be seen cradled in their father’s arms holding each other’s hand — almost as if reassuring the other.
The twins — Kristiana and Kristian — were born prematurely at just 28 weeks and one day and have been given Kangaroo Care, a practice wherein the newborn is snuggled onto a parent’s chest, ensuring skin-to-skin contact, so that there is transfer of body heat, and the baby can sense/hear the parent’s heartbeat as well.
Their mother, Anthea Jackson-Rushford, shot a video of the twins on their father’s chest, tightly holding hands. “He actually holds her hand. How is that possible? That’s just unbelievable,” the mother can be heard saying in the backdrop.
