Music composer Yashraj Mukhate is known for turning pop culture moments into zany music. However, his latest musical endeavour is not dedicated to any trending topic, but it is an ode to his favourite dessert.
On Monday, Mukhate released a four-minute song titled Rasmalai on major music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. The song has been composed and sung by Mukhate and its lyrics are by Alok Ranjan Srivastava.
On Instagram, Mukhate shared a small video that showed him relishing the sweet. The short clip also shows an animated version of Mukhate getting lost in the wonderful flavour and texture of the dessert before he is interrupted by a phone call.
While sharing this video, the 27-year-old wrote, “This song is my love letter for my most favourite dessert, Rasmalai!”.
Since it was posted on Monday, this post has had 1.4 lakh likes on Instagram.
Commenting on this video, an Instagram user wrote, “Amazing! I don’t like Rasmalai too much but watching this makes me wanna try it again sometime ”.
