Indian television shows often get lampooned for their ridiculous storylines and scenes that defy the laws of physics. A video from a show called “Bhagya Lakshmi” is going viral for the way the lead actors are shown falling off a mountain cliff for what seems like eternity.
A clip showing a scene from an episode that aired in 2021 was posted on X, formerly Twitter. The video featuring actors Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti shows the woman falling down a cliff after she leaves the man’s hand. As she is falling, the man says a dialogue and then jumps into the air.
Even though the actress fell before him, the man soon catches up with her and is seen embracing her in midair. While in a free fall, they engage in a melodramatic conversation. The man tells her to say the three magical words, or that she loves him. As tense music builds up, the duo fall into a waterbody in the end. “Newton left the chat,” says the caption of the video.

“They were like let’s have a talk on the way,” commented an X user with laughing emojis. “Lol! This is hilarious. The whole ep will be rishmi falling and it look like they land in a puddle of water. What kind of shallow river was that!!” said another. “Anyone feeling dizzy while watching this scene,” wrote a third. “Why mock the actors. Clearly it was the makers and directors who asked them to do this,” said a fourth.
