Nestled on the banks of the Yamuna River in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Over the centuries, it has been a symbol of India’s rich history and one of the world’s most visited seven wonders, drawing millions of tourists every year.

While the breathtaking marble structure is open to the public, access to the actual tombs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal has long been restricted. However, a video is doing rounds on the Internet, stirring curiosity as it reveals a rare glimpse into the prohibited areas of the Taj Mahal.

The viral video appears to capture the hidden pathway leading to the underground chamber where the real graves of the royal couple lie. The video was posted on Instagram by @dinbhar_bharat_. Set to the backdrop of the Bollywood classic Jo Wada Kiya, the clip quickly gained traction, amassing a wave of reactions. Many social media users were left wondering how the person gained access to such a heavily restricted part of the Taj Mahal.

The identity of the person who entered the area is unknown, and indianexpress.com couldn’t independently verify the video.

And About this mostly everyone known as it was shown long ago in a documentary,” a user noted. “Exactly it’s their real resting place of Shahjahan and Mumtaz, and that area is always closed with locks , how come this man went inside breaking the locks awat ????” another user commented.

“That’s the basement area where the real tomb is and its open to public on yearly anniversary of them… And yes, that room stinks,” a third user reacted. “Still i don’t know why Tajmahal is famous…i don’t see love in it…our mad people makes mad things famous,” a fourth user said.
