Indians love getting free coriander leaves when buying vegetables at local markets. Quick commerce platforms have figured this out and, to delight their customers, are now sending dhaniya with all sorts of items—sometimes even with a beautiful bouquet of roses.
A girl named Sushi (@tandoorinightts) recently took to her X account to share that a boy (presumably her partner) sent her flowers, but along with that, she got some complimentary dhaniya as well. She posted a screenshot of the order showing that dhaniya was free, along with a photo of the bouquet of roses.
Her caption read, “He sent me flowers and Swiggy sent free dhaniya with that bro why tf would I need that????”

The official support handle of Swiggy wrote, “@tandoorinightts Hey, we regret the trouble. Please share the order number. We will look into it,” to which Sushi replied, “rehnedo ab kha lungi dhaniya bhi (never mind, I’ll have the dhaniya too).”
Another user wrote, “He made your day good now dhaniya will help you to make good food.” A third person commented, “My dad brings Dhaniya and flowers for mum and for the kitchen every week so if we see from this point it shows your future with the guy.”
A fourth individual wrote, “Dhaniya makes everything good only.. mummy ne btaya tha.”
