Smriti Irani, minister for women and child development, often has her social media in splits with her quirky posts and advice. The former actor has shared clips from sitcom “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” and has triggered laughter online. She also shared the moral of the story with a funny twist.

In the short videos, Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Dayaben (Disha Vakani) are seen engaged in a funny exchange of words in Hindi. Jethalal asks Daya in the first clip, “Where were you when God was distributing imtelligence?” and Daya’s hilarious reply is, “I was taking pheras with you.”
In the second clip, Daya asks Jethalal the number of grains in one kilogram of wheat and he says he does not know. She offers him almonds and asks him how many bananas there are in one dozen. Instantly, he replies there are 12 and in agreement, Daya says, “See the wonder of almonds.”
Instagram users were left in splits after watching the clips. A user commented, “Hhahahahaha .. true.” Another user wrote, “My favourite.” A third user commented, “This is too much.”
Recently, the Union minister shared a Whisper ad she acted in 25 years ago. In the ad, she talked about how natural menstruation is and won hearts online with the black and white clip. In the Instagram post, she mentioned about models’ aversion to act in sanitary pad ads it “ensured the death of a glamour-based career”.
