Rohit’s parents were deeply moved by the emotional scene at the stadium, where thousands of fans chanted their son’s name enthusiastically throughout the hour-long accolade ceremony.

When Rohit entered the president’s box to meet his parents, he found himself surrounded by eager fans and media, all seeking to capture the heartfelt moment. Poornima, Rohit’s mother, couldn’t contain her joy and showered him with kisses, prompting the Indian captain to playfully ask her to stop, saying, ‘‘Bass Ma”.
After watching the video, social media users also commented on how typical it is for all Indian moms to react similarly when their child achieves a milestone.
