When it comes to making memes, Twitterati hardly discriminate. It can be a good film or a bad one, a funny scene or a sombre one, but trust Twitterati to give it a different spin and make it hilarious. After turning a boring line from the film Hum Saath-Saath Hain into a hilarious meme, a scene from the recently released film Newton, that is also India’s official entry for The Oscars, has caught their attention.
The scene has Rajkummar Rao talking to Pankaj Tripathi. While, possibly in the midst of a conversation, Tripathi says, “Main likh ke deta hun, koi nahi aayega” (I can give you in writing no one will come) Rao replies, “likh ke dijiye” (give it to me in writing). This brief exchange was enough for the people on Twitter to wear their thinking caps and make up different and funny scenarios around the line.
While some used the picture and wrote, when your friends want to plan a Goa trip with school days, others wrote, when BCCI says they would like to schedule more such home series in India. All in all the memes are sure to make you laugh.
Here is the picture that started it all. Do read the case presented as well.
