An Indian woman Disco Jockey (DJ) is winning hearts with her remarkable stint performed at an altitude of 10,000 feet. DJ TRYPS took the Internet by storm after a video of her performing a full live set while paragliding emerged on social media. The video has since gone viral, with several social media users calling it a “groundbreaking moment” for electronic music in the country.

Dressed in an all-white outfit, DJ TRYPS took to the skies with her DJ mixer and performed at high altitude. The viral video shows the paragliding expert vibing to her music mid-air. Sharing the video on Instagram, she wrote, “Yeah, I did that. Watch this space for more.”

The texts on the video displayed, “History made,” and “World’s first paragliding female DJ.”

The video, shared three weeks ago, is winning plaudits and has garnered nearly two lakh views. “Oh wow thats an insane …soo brave,” a user wrote. “We’ve got paragliding female DJ before GTA VI, I’m literally stunned,” another user commented.

“This is epic Trishi! So so so proud of you. Wow! My little gundi rockstar born to shine,” a third user reacted.

However, a section of social media users expressed safety concerns, with many calling it a “risky” move. “This craziness you have a crazy mind that’s risky,” a user wrote. “Not a good idea to risk your life for a 15second video may god be with you,” another user reacted.

Meanwhile, several paragliding-related deaths have been reported in India since the beginning of this year. In July, a 25-year-old tourist from Gujarat’s Ahmedabad lost his life while taking off at Bangotu near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. Reports said the accident occurred around 4.00 PM and the tourist and pilot sustained serious injuries in the crash, shortly after taking off. While the pilot survived, the tourist succumbed to his injuries.
