The horror night, known as Halloween or Allhalloween, is celebrated on October 31 all across the globe. People host costume parties, play ‘trick-or-treat’, watch horror films, visit haunted houses and carve lanterns out of pumpkins. While most of them love to take part in costume parties and scary games, others just prefer to send in spooky messages to their near and dear ones on social media.
Getting into the eerie mood, Mumbai Police joined in the Twitter brigade and sent their wishes to social media users — but with a quirky twist. “If you try to ‘trick’ us, we will make sure we ‘treat’ you right #HappyHalloween,” they captioned the picture that read: “No matter what disguise you commit a crime in, we will find you. Happy Halloween!” No sooner did they upload the picture, Twitter users started applauding their gesture and wishing them back.
