In a heartwarming display of perseverance and family love, a 52-year-old man from Mumbai has proved it’s never too late to chase a dream. After earning his MBA, his son, Maitreya Sathe, decided to celebrate the achievement with a surprise graduation party that’s now winning hearts online.
Shared on Instagram with the cheeky caption “graduATE,” the clip has racked up more than 3.63 lakh views and close to 35,000 likes. The on-screen text says, “pov: Your dad got MBA at 52, so you throw a surprise graduation party for him but the theme was him!”
As the video unfolds, the father walks into a room full of friends and family, all wearing masks of his face. Bright sticky notes, each carrying a small message of encouragement, fill the walls. His stunned reaction quickly turns to laughter as he’s greeted with cheers and applause.
The Internet can’t get enough of the moment. Social media users are calling it “the most wholesome thing” they’ve seen in a while, and one fan dubbed it the “Multiverse of Dadness.” Another person wrote, “And here I am dragging myself to finish up my EX MBA at 35.
