A Bollywood trope audiences seldom get tired of is the heroine rocking a chiffon saree and the hero, usually bundled up, romancing. From Yash Chopra to Karan Johar, directors have perfected these scenes, and fans dream of recreating them. Instagram user Aavi Vadekar’s mother had the same dream.
A video Vadekar shared from his Instagram profile captures his mother living that dream, and it has won hearts across social media.
The video shows Vadekar’s mother, donning a striking red saree, fully adorned, joyfully dancing amid the hills of Devlok, Manali. In the caption, he wrote, “Age is just a number to complete your dream Just go for it 💯❤.”
The woman, in the video, lip-syncs and performs to Tere Mere Hothon Pe, originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Babla Mehta. The reel garnered over 92,900 likes and many comments.
The video also reached Ajio Life’s Instagram feed. The brand wrote, “You see a woman in saree, we see a little girl living her dream.” Another wrote, “I want to do the same video with my mom 😍😍😍 someone is living my dream.” A third user commented, “A happiest mom on this Earth, and son doing his best to keep the moment best.”
