In the spirit of the upcoming Halloween season, Delhi makeup artist Iza Setia shared a video in which she dressed up as the central character in ‘The Nun’, the 2018 horror film of the same name, and ventured outside.
The clip captured the frightened reactions of people when they first noticed her. However, after their initial shock subsided many people took a moment to appreciate Setia on her skilled look.
Setia shared this reaction video on her Instagram account on October 7. So far it has gathered over seven lakh likes.
An Instagram user wrote, “Oh goddd BEST BEST BEST THING I SAW ON INTERNET TODAY babe you killed it ”. Another person commented that thankfully she was not among the persons who spotted her.
Prior to sharing this video, Setia also shared close up photos of her special Halloween look. Instagram users also commented on the photos and appreciated her for the perfectly scary looks.
While Setia’s video was lighthearted and fun, sometimes similar pranks get people in trouble. In November 2019, the Bengaluru police arrested seven college students for playing late night pranks on residents in Mathikere, Yeshwantpur, and other areas of Bengaluru. The students, who are creators for a YouTube channel named ‘Kooky Pedia’, would dress up as ghosts in white robes and target pedestrians and motorists. The students were soon released on station bail after apologising for their acts.
