Moni Bhosle, 16, from Indore, now fondly known as Mona Lisa, rose to fame after a video of her selling garlands at the Mahakumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj went viral. Her fame reached a point People flocked to see her in person and click selfies with her. Many predicted she would land modelling assignments and offers from Bollywood.
Making the predictions seem right, she has now stepped into the world of glamour. On Friday, she inaugurated a brand-new Chemmanur Jewellers showroom in Kerala’s Kozhikode. Her arrival at the showroom created quite a buzz, online and on ground.
Lisa was driven to the venue in a vehicle belonging to Boby Chemmanur, now infamously known as “BoChe,” the owner of the jewellery chain. A huge crowd had gathered outside, eager to catch a glimpse of the young sensation. Fans and photographers scrambled to click pictures as she stepped onto the stage, smiling and waving at everyone.
Lisa, who seemed to be soaking in every moment of her new-found fame, even danced alongside BoChe, much to the delight of the audience.
Another moment that caught everyone’s attention was when BoChe placed a diamond necklace around Lisa’s neck. A video capturing the moment has gone viral.
According to reports, Lisa is all set to make her acting debut in Diary of Manipur, a film directed by Sanoj Mishra.
BoChe has been making headlines recently after being arrested by Kerala Police over allegations of making obscene remarks about Malayalam actor Honey Rose. He was booked under Section 75 of BNS (sexual harassment) and Section 67 of the IT Act. Kerala Police arrested him on January 8 in Wayanad. The case followed a complaint from Rose, who alleged BoChe had spoken to her in an “insulting manner” at a showroom inauguration in Kannur and later made “obscene remarks” at another event.
