A heart-melting video of students helping their disabled classmate after lunch is winning hearts on social media, racking up over a million views. The video was captured at Government Higher Secondary School, Ayyankoickal, in Kerala’s Thevalakkara.

The video shows a student gently washing and wiping the face of the disabled classmate while the other student retrieves his wheelchair. After cleaning up their classmate, both students gently take him back to the classroom. Sharing the video, the Instagram handle of The Better India, a website dedicated to positive news, wrote, “This simple yet profound gesture shows how compassion can transform lives. These young heroes prove that true kindness begins in the smallest moments.”

Numerous users hailed the students for their gesture towards a classmate. One user commented, “When you teach kids empathy and kindness, an entire GENERATION CHANGES!!! This is the change that we all need.” Another user wrote, “Beautiful! I hope the kindness remains even when he grows older and days get harder.”

“This is education and what they read in textbooks, good job boys, way to go,” a third user said. “When we talk about inclusive education, we mean it,” another user wrote.
