A video of a flood-like situation near Lulu Mall in Kerala’s Kochi has caught the Internet’s attention. The viral video shows the roads and parking spots near the mall plunged in rainwater.
Sharing the video, an Instagram handle @bangalore_malayalees wrote, “Visuals from Edapally, near to Lulu mall.”

Many users commented on the video slamming the government for poor management. “It is like Chennai, there is no setup to let the water go if it rains,” a user commented. “There is no point crying at this point. we are keep voting for the people who doesn’t even heard of city planing so cry in silence now,” another user wrote.
In another video shared by ANI, several parts of Kottayam district can be seen flooded. The video also captures trees swaying violently amid heavy rain.
On May 22, lightning struck the Manohar International Airport (MIA) in North Goa which led to the diversion of six flights and caused damage to the runway-edge lights. A video of when lightning hit the airport is now viral.
Shared by ANI, the now-viral video shows a stunning view of the clouds shot from a distance. A lightning struck the area, making the clouds look red for a moment.
“Visuals of lightning struck the Manohar International Airport (MIA) in Goa causing damage to the runway edge lights on May 22 at around 5.15 pm. Six flights were diverted. Damaged lights were rectified to bring the airport operations to normalcy within two hours,” ANI wrote.
