Sudha Murty, chairperson of the Infosys Foundation, who is also an educator, author and philanthropist, is known for her humble nature and simplicity. The 73-year-old wife of Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murty was recently spotted at an airport where she interacted with other people.

Jayanti Bhattacharya, co-founder of India Hemp and Co, who also appeared on Shark Tank India, shared her photo with Sudha Murty on LinkedIn. Bhattacharya wrote she had heard about Murty’s “grace, grit, intelligence and creativity” but what blew her away was her “patience, humility and simplicity”.

Despite being a Padma Bhushan recipient and the mother-in-law of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, she was “just waiting in a busy airport with us, talking and connecting with everyday people”, she wrote further. “It’s good to know that in a world of Elon Musks, we’ll always have our Sudha Murthy,” she said.

Shared three days ago, the post has received more than 1,800 likes.
