India is a place where you find a barber in every nook and corner. Visiting a roadside barber can be quite an experience as one can get a haircut at the cheapest rates. One man who seems to be fond of this unique experience is former England captain Michal Vaughan.

Vaughan, who is currently in India covering the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023, took to X, formerly Twitter, to post a video of getting a haircut and a head massage from a roadside barber in Mumbai.

The 49-year-old visited his “good friend” Dinajayal on Ormiston Road to get a haircut before Diwali. “Diwali party trim and head massage from my good friend Dinajayal on Ormiston Road in #Mumbai,” he wrote on X. After getting a haircut, he is seen getting a head massage with oil.

Then on Monday, Vaughan again took to X to share a photo of him getting a shave from the same barber. “Monday is shaving day on the Orminston Road with my good friend Dinjayal,” he said.

“This is a positive thing I have seen today, foreigners have come to support our street workers, showing trust in their work,” a user commented. “First with the haircut and now shaving. Obsession is unreal,” said another. “Getting professional hair cut in the expensive showroom is a myth…You may get the best even road sides,” wrote a third.

Vaughan had celebrated his 49th birthday recently and ex-India cricket team member Wasim Jaffer wished him in his usual witty style. Jaffer shared a photo of a chocolate cake as he wrote, “Happy b’day to the man who loves to eat his own words.”
