A driverless car caused panic among commuters after it erupted in flames while speeding through the busy Ajmer Road in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Several media outlets reported that the incident occurred near Sudarshanpura Pulia on Saturday.
The viral clip shows the burning vehicle approaching motorcycles, making the commuters run for their life. The dramatic scene escalated when the car recklessly kept speeding and moving through the busy road. Some motorist left their vehicles on the road to rush to safety. Onlookers can also be seen filming the incident from a flyover. Towards the end of the video, the car crashes into a divider.

The video amassed several reactions with one commenting, “Respect for the white shirt man who pulled back the bike and the fellow on the pathway.” Another user wrote, “It’s alarming…not global warming it’s global blowing.”
“ADAS features working after burning,” a third user reacted. “We got Ghost Rider upgrading to an SUV before GTA VI,” another user commented.
According to a report in The Times of India, the car belongs to Jitendra Jangid, a resident of Divya Darshan Apartment in Mansarovar. He noticed smoke coming out from the vehicle’s air conditioning unit while driving.
When he exited the vehicle and lifted the bonnet, he saw the engine was on fire, further damaging the car’s handbrake. The vehicle then kept running uncontrollably down the road. A fire tender was appointed immediately. However, the car was destroyed by then. No injuries have been reported.
