Sometimes people in uniform have such musical talent that you wonder how far they could have gone if they chose music as a career. Delhi Police constable Rajat Rathor, who has mesmerized the internet with his singing and music many times, is among them.
The policeman describes himself as a singer, writer and composer on Instagram, where he has over 55,000 followers. In a video posted March 12, he is seen singing “Dil Sambhal Ja Zara”, originally sung by Arijit Singh, Mohammed Irfan and Saim Bhat for the 2011 film Murder 2, which starred Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Clad in the uniform, Rathor is seen crooning the hit song while standing in an almost empty parking lot. Without any musical instrument, he sang the song in his soulful voice. The video has received one million views.

“Amazing voice,” commented an Instagram user. “Soothing,” said another. “Just a random reminder. Never give up on your passion,” wrote a third.
In February, a video of Rathor performing the song “Roke Na Ruke Naina” from the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania on stage during an official function went viral. “Pov – You are following your passion and Duty at the same time,” Rathor wrote as a text insert on the video. Music director and singer Amaal Mallik, who composed the song, also reacted to the video as he wrote, “Incredible thank you.”
