Remember signing yearbooks and saying tearful goodbyes on your last day? Or decorating the classroom for your teacher’s birthday? A new video is igniting all those nostalgic feels on the internet. The video has now gone viral on social media as people celebrated student-teacher bond, with even actor Varun Dhawan responding to it.
A group of students organised a heartwarming moment for their teacher, leaving their teacher emotional. The video opened with a call for the teacher to intervene in a supposed scuffle. As he pulled apart two students, he was met with a beautiful bouquet and a chorus of “Happy Birthday!” The surprised teacher, touched by the thoughtful gesture, beams with happiness and showers his students with hugs and appreciation.
The caption was equally thoughtful. It started with, “Dear Sujan sir, happiest birthday Sujan sir🫶 Thank you for always going out and beyond to give the best for us, thank you for being our friend, thank you for making us feel like a big chaotic family…”

Another quoted the iconic Robin Williams performance from Dead Poet’s Society and said, “ Oh Captain, My Captain!” A third user added, “The thing these kids will remember when they go on to win in their lives is that there was a great teacher who cared about them as humans ! It’s never the class or subject- it is always the teacher.” And a fourth netizen posted, “Such a rare sight! The purity of a good teacher and obedient students is the best which is missing from most schools these days. Glad to see there are teachers like Sujan Sir!”
