The Internet is full of people indulging in bizarre acts. A video from Bengaluru’s Kalyan Nagar, showing a man driving with small dogs––without any sort of harness or protective gear––on top of his car, has gone viral on X. Shared by a handle Karnataka Portfolio, the video has sparked widespread outrage, especially due to the driver’s defiant attitude when confronted.
The footage shows three dogs clinging to the car’s roof, leaving bystanders horrified at the risk posed to the animals, and others on the road. When a concerned citizen filming the incident confronted the driver, his response was not remorseful but combative, further escalating the situation.
“This is not the first time when these guys were spotted doing such reckless behaviour in the city, it was spotted in Kalyan Nagar. Several dogs were seen precariously placed on top of a moving car on the highway, causing immense fear and distress to the animals and alarming the public. Such irresponsible actions posed a significant risk of accidents, endangering both human lives and the lives of the helpless animals involved,” the post read.
The X handle also urged authorities to take swift action, describing the act as a gross violation of traffic and animal safety laws. “This act of negligence is not only inhumane but also a blatant violation of traffic and animal safety laws. Authorities are strongly urged to take immediate action by identifying the individual responsible for this dangerous behaviour,” the post said.
The video that captured the vehicle’s license plate also showed a “Press” sticker on the car and another one saying, “HARI LIKES RISK”.

A third user commented, “He looks like the kind that will abandon his dogs.”
A fourth user said, “This is not acceptable. He putting that animal at risk and also the riders travelling. He should be fined heavy and should be sent to school again for learning how to talk to humans.”
