A 6-year-old boy’s life was saved after being electrocuted in Ayyappa Nagar, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The quick thinking and actions of an Andhra Pradesh doctor turned a potential tragedy into a story of hope and heroism.
The video of the doctor performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the boy has now gone viral, earning her praise. In the video shared on X by @sudhakarudumala, one can see the dramatic rescue. The doctor methodically taps the boy’s chest, trying to bring him back to life.
The incident occurred when the young boy suffered a severe electric shock, causing him to collapse and go into cardiac arrest. His distraught parents, realising the gravity of the situation, rushed him down the street.
As fate would have it, the doctor was nearby. Noticing the panicked parents and the lifeless child, she sprang into action. Right there on the road, she began performing CPR, a critical emergency procedure to restart the heart and breathing.

After several tense minutes, the doctor’s efforts paid off. The boy began to breathe again, much to the relief of his parents and onlookers. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment, as written on the post shared on X by @sudhakarudumala.
