Brown bears are great at hunting fish. They use different tactics for fishing—they patiently wait along the edges of the water and wait for the timely opportunity to pin the fish that passes near them or they simply dive in or chase their prey.

On Tuesday, business tycoon Anand Mahindra shared a video that showed a brown bear expertly grabbing a fish from a moving stream.

While sharing this video, Mahindra ascribed moral qualities to this act and wrote, “Meditation. Concentration. Leads to successful action. ”.

His observation has gathered over 21,000 likes so far.

Commenting on it, a Twitter user wrote, “Concentration allows us to devote our full attention to the task at hand, which can boost our productivity, creativity, & overall effectiveness. We can improve our ability to take action & achieve our goals by cultivating these qualities through meditation & concentration.”

Another person offered an opposing opinion and wrote, “Animals do not meditate. Their natural instincts are about focus and concentration. Do not ascribe human desires/attributes/skills to animals. You did it once with temple elephants (called them divine), and now with this wild bear.”

Mahindra often shares videos of animals and birds and derives life lessons from them. In March last year, he espoused the values of collaboration and teamwork by sharing a video that showed two crows snatching a piece of food from a cat by distracting the feline.
