Anand Mahindra shares hair-raising video of a truck off-roading, netizens point out it’s a simulation

Anand Mahindra, an avid social media user, often shares intriguing videos of motor vehicles. This time, the chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra was fascinated by a truck taking over other on a narrow path with a steep cliff inches away from it. However, the clip turned out to be an animated one and he prompted a user to add a dramatic soundtrack to it. The result is quite hilarious.

Sharing the clip on Thursday, the business tycoon wrote, “I was sent this with the caption: Is that one of your trucks?? It’s truly going ‘off-road.’” The clip shows a huge truck being manoeuvred through rough terrain. Another truck is also seen halted and the truck passes beside it. With minimal space for the loaded truck to pass, the scene adds tension as a slight turn may leave the truck in the water body beside. At one point, the truck slides but maintains balance and moves forward safely.

Insider Hub, a Twitter handle wrote in the comments section, “Its from Truck simulator game.” Responding to the comment, Mahindra asked if someone can add another soundtrack suggesting it to be either from a horror movie or a “saas-bahu” serial.

“Yes. Can someone add a different and more appropriate sound track? Maybe from an Indian horror movie? Or a saas-bahu serial,” read Mahindra’s reply. Adding a dramatic soundtrack typically heard in soap operas, Insider Hub shared the edited video. The melodramatic tone adds tension, and suspense to the clip and in sync with the truck’s movement, the result is quite hilarious. Mahindra responded, “Yes, just what I was looking for… 👍🏽. Now let’s hope the video game makers use this as the soundtrack.”
