Amid several videos and posts on backlash against Indians over a lack of civil sense, a new video of a woman aboard a New York City subway, violating public decency, is doing rounds on the Internet. The video, seemingly filmed by a fellow passenger, is triggering massive outrage.
The video shared by the Instagram handle @1776qqqqq shows a woman scrubbing her feet, causing dead skin to scatter across the subway floor. She continues to scrub her feet even after noticing being filmed. “Looks like she’s setting up her own ‘underground Italian restaurant’ right there on the train. Next stop: marinara sauce aisle,” the caption read.
The overlay text on the video displays, “Man, NYC never disappoints. People bring the wildest stuff into the subway, but shaving Parmesan cheese straight onto the floor? That’s a new level a chaos.”

The video quickly drew attention, prompting a flurry of reactions criticising the act. “Disgusting behavior and zero shame,” a user wrote. “We seriously need more Mental institutions to be opened and actually keep patients committed!” another user commented.
“Why do so many people lack any shame or self awareness,” a third user reacted. “This is why there’s no such thing as a 5 second rule. Do not pick up anything you’ve dropped on the floor to eat omg,” a fourth user said.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a 29-year-old woman aboard a Manhattan subway train last month. According to Pix11.com, Brandon Balfour was also indicted on multiple counts of assault and robbery in connection with the incident.
The reports added that the attack occurred around 11.00 pm on August 6, aboard a northbound No. 3 train. As the train approached the Wall Street and William Street station, Balfour allegedly approached the woman and stabbed her in the back and arm with a large knife.
