Jeremy, 33, was left in utter shock after he found a nose ring in his Taco Bell order on July 24. The US man who had ordered two steak-cheesy treet chalupas ended up with a sore throat.

According to Newsweek, Jeremy realised something was in his meal that got stuck in his throat. He managed to get it out of his throat and tried to chew it; however, it got caught between his teeth. The nose ring, now slightly bent from the bite, got pushed to the front of my mouth, and I spit it out. It took a small bit of my filling with it, and [I felt] a small sharp pain from the bite. I was in pure shock when I realised what it was. I looked at my wife, and she looked over and couldn’t say anything,” he told the news magazine.

Jeremy also shared pictures of the nose ring in his meal on Reddit. “Found a nose ring in my taco bell today!” he wrote. The first picture shows the half-eaten meal. The second frame captures the silver nose ring caught up between the food. In the last photo, Jeremy separated the ornament from his food.

Soon after the incident came to light, Taco Bell responded, saying they are probing the matter. “We take this very seriously. We are looking into this matter and strive to make things right with the customer, ” the company told Newsweek.

Last month, a Mumbai-based food vlogger discovered a dead insect in her Burger King order. Speaking to indianexpress.com, Anshika shared that she demanded compensation for “mental agony and health suffering”.

However, she claimed the company offered burgers or an Amazon voucher as compensation. “They were offering burgers or an Amazon voucher but how will a voucher pay for my medical expenses?” she asked.
