A university in the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands has come up with a bizarre way to help their students cope with exam stress. The Radboud University is offering students a “meditation grave” for its students to meditate comfortably.

Situated behind the students chapel, the open grave has a yoga mat and blanket, and a sign that says “Stay weird”. The project is extremely popular among the students and people are being put on a waitlist to get a “grave experience.”
The project’s founder, John Hacking, who is a staff member of the student’s chapel, said that that the grave is for the students to appreciate their time on earth and eventually be comfortable with the idea of death.
The project is advertised in the campus under the Latin title “memento mori”, which is “remember you will die” in English. Students can book the grave for sessions lasting from 30 minutes to three hours.
