Royal family outings never fail to capture public attention, and the recent VE Day commemoration was no exception. While Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the event with their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—it was young Louis who stole the spotlight.

VE Day is observed to commemorate the end of World War II in Europe. Prince of Wales King George VI, William’s great-grandfather, was the monarch during the time.

In a now-viral video from the event, Prince Louis, 7, can be seen teasing his older brother, Prince George. Dressed in suits and ties, the brothers, in the video, are sitting next to each other during the military procession at the Queen Victoria Memorial in London. Louis mimics George’s hair-smoothing gesture, exaggerating the motion. Moments later, Louis adds to the mischief by blowing air upwards to ruffle his own hair, leaving onlookers both amused.

Sharing the video, CBS News wrote, “Prince Louis made fun of his brother George flicking his hair during Victory in Europe Day commemorations in London.”

The video quickly gained traction, racking up nearly four million views. “Whether he was mocking or imitating his brother, it’s hilarious. Brothers gonna brother,” a user wrote. “The little one understood the assignment. Don’t give in and eyes forward after shading your brother,” another user commented.

“There is something going on with that kid, Louis. Don’t know..He looks like a little rebel,” a third user reacted. “People say he’s cute, but he looks a real handful to me,” a fourth user said.

On April 23, Prince Louis, on his 7th birthday, was spotted on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, giving inane expressions like showing off his missing two front teeth while standing next to his mother, Catherine, Princess of Wales.
