In a bid to make Pakistan safer, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of the country destroyed over 400kg of illegal seized drugs. In Peshawar, the ANF held a drug burning ceremony earlier this week and now, the photos of the event is going viral. Not because of the scale of the seized drugs but the woman members of the force who posed against the backdrop of the raging fire to take selfies. Social media has been flooded with their photos and netizens of the country dubbed them as nothing but ‘badass’.
With trendy sunglasses, with rifles in hand, the women in military fatigues have stunned people online. Many remarked that if they thought Pakistani women were docile and dominated, let these images change the perceptions women have taken charge.

DG ANF Major General Musarrat Nawaz Malik said that the menace of drugs is one of the most damaging and life crippling threat for a society and ANF is striving for its absolute elimination, to achieve the goal of a “Drug-Free Society”, The Nation reported.
Among the drugs seized and smoked in the ceremony included many narcotic elements ranging from opium and cocaine to even Xanax and morphine.
