Everyone has seven doppelgangers, they say. But, have you come across someone who remarkably resembles a monument?
A London-based musician, Su Krikken, has gone viral for her incredible resemblance to Lady Liberty of the famous Statue of Liberty, according to a report by the New York Post. Krikken has received a lot of appreciation from viewers for being an “exact clone,” so much so that she intends to dress up as Lady Liberty for Halloween, with a crown and torch.
Krikken, known for electronic music, shared a video on Instagram talking about her friend’s observation that her face is remarkably similar to that of Lady Liberty. “One of my friends said to me my face is the same as the Statue of Liberty’s, and I can’t stop thinking about it,” Krikken says in the video. As the video overlays Krikken’s face with a close-up of Lady Liberty’s, and she mimics the statue’s stoic expression, the resemblance becomes obvious.

One user admitted, “I was disagreeing until you showed the picture,” while another remarked, “It’s the chiseled features.” A third user expressed their surprise with a simple, “Wait — oh my god!”
Krikken shared with The Post on Thursday that she plans to channel the Statue of Liberty for her Halloween costume, complete with seafoam body paint that captures the statue’s iconic colour. She mentioned, “I’m with my favourite photographer…and we’re planning a shoot for it already.” She added that it’s been quite enjoyable to be celebrated for such a “weird thing”.
