From personalising recommendations to giving advice, AI technology helps in various aspects of life. The latest AI-driven iteration of Google Search called Search Generative Experience (SGE) has sparked chatter on social media after it advised a user to drink urine to pass kidney stones.

Shared by an X handle @dril, the post shows SGE suggesting the user to drink plenty of fluids. When searched for ‘how to pass kidney stones quickly…’ The response read, “Drinking plenty of fluids, such as water, ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, or fruit juice, can help pass kidney stones more quickly. You should aim to drink at least 2 quarts (2 liters) of urine every 24 hours, and your urine should be light in color.”

Reacting to it, the user wrote, “perfect. ready to go. ship it out.”
