Coldplay has officially arrived in India. The band’s frontman Chris Martin was spotted at Mumbai airport alongside his partner, actor Dakota Johnson.
Touching down on Thursday, Martin wasted no time soaking in the vibrant energy of Mumbai ahead of Coldplay’s eagerly awaited concert in the city. The singer has been making the most of his visit, even sharing glimpses of his experiences.
The band shared their excitement with fans by posting a photo of Martin, dressed casually in a grey T-shirt and black trousers, enjoying the beauty of Marine Drive. Alongside the picture, they expressed their gratitude, writing, “We are so happy and grateful to be here in India.”

Earlier on Thursday, pictures of Martin and Johnson arriving at Mumbai airport went viral. Martin acknowledged the paparazzi with a warm “namaste,” flashing a smile and waving at fans before the couple left the airport together.
Coldplay is gearing up for an exciting return to India, with performances lined up at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21. The three-day extravaganza is expected to attract a massive crowd of around 70,000 fans.
After the Navi Mumbai shows, the band will wrap up their India tour with two back-to-back concerts at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26.
This marks Coldplay’s long-awaited return to the country since their unforgettable performance at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival.
