As the Paris Olympic games are going on in full swing––with all the surprises and shockers––many old clips and stills from different sporting events are going viral on social media. Among these videos is one from 2018, showing a girl participating in an archery competition.
The video reshared by X handle @ayeejuju, with the caption “Who is this???”, has garnered a whopping 20.9 million views. In it, the girl is seen taking aim with her bow and arrow, and smiling before shooting. Noticing everyone’s reaction to her near-perfect shot, she smiles again in the video.

The girl in the video is Chou Tzuyu, best known for being a member of the South Korean girl K-pop group Twice. The archery video is from South Korea’s Idol Championship in 2018.
Born in the city of Tainan in Taiwan, Tzuyu grew up with an interest in performing arts. Her parents encouraged her artistic talents, and were in a position to financially support her. Tzuyu realised her calibre when JYP Entertainment scouts took notice of her during a workshop.
She moved to South Korea in search of better opportunities, and began her training, where she chiselled her skills in performing arts. The reality survival show Sixteen was her ticket to fame. The show aimed to select members for JYP Entertainment’s new girl K-pop group Twice. She earned a spot in the seven-member group. Her stunning dance moves, coupled with her pleasant personality, helped her create a niche for herself within the group and among her fans.
On August 2, JYP Entertainment announced that Tzuyu, 25, is set to make her solo debut with her first mini album titled aboutTZU. JYP has released a teaser of the video. The video showcases a captivating world with the artist in a satin blue gown. It has created a great buzz with many commenting that they are thrilled for its release.
