The antics of baby elephants are one among them and now a baby elephant playing with a ball has tickled the funny bones of internet users. The zealous calf played with the ball only to fall on the ground while attempting what seemed like a free kick.
The clip shared from the popular Twitter account Buitengebieden shows the calf darting behind a ball. The enthusiastic baby elephant kicks the ball with its legs and trunk and moves swiftly behind it. The calf moves to the field and in an attempt to make a forceful kick, it falls. Engrossed in the game, the baby elephant does not lose its spirit and goes on to grab the ball with its trunk.
Netizens cannot stop gushing over the baby elephant’s cuteness. A user commented, “slide tackle 🫶 always my fave.” Another user wrote, “Something positive to help you smile today. It did for me.” A third user wrote, “Seems to have got inspired from Neymar.”
Several videos of the pachyderm’s antics go viral on social media. Recently, a video showing an elephant pouring water by itself to beat the scorching heat did rounds on social media. Without anyone’s help, the elephant was seen using a hosepipe and splashing water on both sides of its body.
