There are some world records that leave you scratching your head as to who came up with such a bizarre idea in the first place. The Guinness World Records shared a video of one such record that one could easily try at home.
An Australian man set the record for the “most table tennis balls bounced and caught in shaving foam on the head in 30 seconds (individual)”. Oscar Lyngah set the record in Melbourne on November 30 last year. According to the Guinness World Records website, Lyngah has previously achieved many other records as well like the farthest throw of a rubber chicken and the farthest behind-the-back catch of a tennis ball.
In the video posted on Twitter, Lyngah is seen wearing a swimming cap as a woman applies shaving foam on his head. After applying a generous amount of shaving foam on his head, he set out to bounce table tennis balls on the wall and then catch them on his head. In 30 seconds, he managed to catch 12 balls thus setting the record.
“New record: Most table tennis balls bounced and caught in shaving foam on the head in 30 seconds (individual) – 12 by Oscar Lynagh yes, this is a real record you can try at home,” Guinness World Records said in the caption.

“If the guy was a true Aussie, he would do that with golf balls,” commented a user. “Don’t they have anything useful to do,” said another.
