Social media is already flooded with videos of people across the world preparing for Christmas. Among those is a video of 5,000 drones lighting up the sky to form a giant Santa Claus. Shared by an Instagram handle Sky Elements Drones, the viral video opens with several technicians setting up the drones in an outdoor area. As dawn approaches, they fly the drones and light up to form a gigantic Santa Claus riding his sleigh.

The video garnered over 84 million views, prompting a sea of reactions. “Love this! If you’re ever gonna do a Jesus birth nativity scene, please post that too! Merry Christmas!” a user wrote. “The programming of these must be super crazy,” another user commented.
“Unbelievable levels of coordination. We definitely need more drone art in our cities,” a third user reacted. “That’s incredible! I’ve seen a couple of drone shows and have been impressed every time,” another user said.
Recently, the Rockefeller Centre Christmas tree lit up with 50,000 colourful lights, followed by a series of performances by Jennifer Hudson, Backstreet Boys, Raye, and others. According to the Associated Press, this year’s tree is a majestic Norway spruce that is 74 feet tall and stretches 43 feet wide.
